A LITTLE Q & A WITH THIS MONTHS TRENDSETTER...READ CLOSELY...YOU MIGHT LEARN A THING OR TWO!

What is your Inspiration?

Oh gosh, my inspiration for what I do comes from those who I'm working with or meet. Yes, this is my full time business, but I really do it because it's something I've enjoyed for the past 9 years, since I was 9. Now, I'm expanding to offer what I do to many others around Atlanta and even outside of the state of Georgia. It's a blessing to be where I am and still under 20, and I must say to be where I am is by just Declaring the Name of Jesus! What I do and the work I have is just a blessing from God to be able to capture much of what I have. My favorite quote that I sort of revised is a Picture can say 1000 words, but one with a Vision is Priceless and that's how I got my name. The Inspiration of Faith and Declaring Jesus is where it all comes from.

How vital has networking been to your success, Honestly?

Well, I'm not a person who markets like many others would. I love being family oriented first and business second, meaning if I meet someone I get to know them first and then later on say hey check out my site or something. Focusing on your business is losing out on really knowing and understanding a person, and that's why much of my work is the way it is. I really understand clients before hand so their photo shoot is personal and different from all the other work I've done. So, I will say it's not vital to me as it may be for most, and just meeting people and knowing them is what's been for my success.

Where do you see yourself 5 years from today?

In 5 years I see myself relocating to Niagara Falls, NY or Canada or Southern California doing high end weddings. Hope to have a place of my own before then and have my own gallery, but mainly just waiting to see where God leads me in that time frame. So much I've done in the 2 years of since my business was started and so much I want to see happen.

What advice would you give aspiring Models, Designers, Stylist, Or Photographers?

With aspiring photographers, taking an internet not in your camera, but the logistics behind it is key. Before I even bought my 1st SLR camera, I was reading as much as I could on them, seeing what types of effects I could do and what all was out there. I see so many out here, especially in Atlanta who are "NOT" photographers and are mainly button pushers or Buttgraphers (Hate to say it) but true. Many just pick up a camera and call themselves a photographer, and make those who take time to study, research and master their skill look atrocious. My work is very traditional and I see others, some my age who are extensive on editing and I sometimes say hmmm I need to learn that so I can be up where they are, but people love me and know me from my traditional and vintage style of work. I started with film and I cont my trademark now with digital. It's not about catching up with anyone else, or doing something you see, but finding where you fit it and then excelling in it to make your brand stand out.

What other members work on MyBlueCarpet.com, in any genre, do you like most?

I am not sure, once I haven't viewed many other photographers on here, but I will say who ever is the one who photographer Riley's images in Black and White, that was on that black cloth/wall has to be the best I've seen on here thus far. I really loved the images I saw on his page because it was along my style with that segment of Classical/Vintage Photography. Thank you for the great privilege to share this and very thankful once again to be selected as Photographer Trendsetter of the month. It's a blessing of it's own and that's the "Power of a Dream" DECLARE YOUR BLESSINGS... Kenneth Hines, Jr. Dynamic Vision Photography & Design Senior Photographer
