My name is Charli Houghton and I live in the Culver City area, which is smaller bureau in Los Angeles County. By day I work with children at a local elementary school and in my free time I like to have fun and pursue other goals that I have in life- modeling being one of them. I recently graduated from UCLA and am taking a year off to chase my dreams while I wait to go back to graduate school.
My family is from Trinidad and Tobago and my ethnic make-up is Afro-Caribbean and Indian with a mix of Chinese, and Spanish. (Basically part mutt.LOL!) This is where I get my red undertones in my skin and when summer comes I can turn 30 different shades of brown. Hopefully I can find a photographer that can capture these different looks that will help me with different looks. I spend my summers and Carnival season there and any other free time I can get. It's my home away from the home I made here so its a special treat for me anytime I can go.
I am here on MyBlueCarpet.com to build my portfolio and am looking for photographers that can help me accomplish the goal of having a diverse portfolio. I don't want to paint myself into a box so if you have an good idea shoot it my way. I do not do nude that is my one rule but pretty much anything else I am open to. Compensation is negotiable depending on the type of shoot that we are doing. Hopefully if you are reading my profile you are looking to work with me.
Some of my guidelines I have as a model:
1. I do not take nude pictures.( I already said that but I guess I should repeat myself if you're just browsing).
2. I may have a chaperone (ex: my manager) depending on the type of shoot we are doing.
3. I do not tolerate harrassment of any kind.
4. I like to know what the details of the shoot (ex: themes, concepts, hair, make-up) so there are no surprises and also so I can be completely prepared and meet your expectations as a photographer .
5. I am professional so I expect the same.
