I was born in Washington, DC. Growing up I traveled somewhere every
summer which is why I love to travel. I have always been an Artist. Drawing
every since the age 4. I have had art work display around the Washington, DC
in places such as the Smithsonian's black history museum, citi bank, supreme
court and other exhibits through out High School. In the 9th grade I received a
regular 35mm camera, as a birthday gift from my Guardmom Lisa, I took it to
school and took pictures of friends and girls. everyone liked the photos I took of
them and it made me feel good about it. I graduated High School in 2001 and
went to study theater at UDC. It was then that I bought my first professional
film camera. I study theater for about 2 semesters. While shoot nature and
random people I missed creating. Art so I changed my major to art. I didn't like
the fact of being limited or structured so it was then that I decide to move to
Atlanta, GA for Fashion. Being in City at Peace, an after school program I
attended in the 11th-12th grade, it helped me to understand people which
allowed me to get comfortable with the fashion industry. I took a year off from
school to work and save money to go to School on Atlanta. April 2003 I started
attending AIU's Buckhead campus. Being in a new city and state with no family
nor friends it was hard to find work. So I got serious with my photography. I
majored in fashion design and got my AA in 2005. In 2006 I went back to
school for my BFA in Fashion Marketing and Design. I kept shooting to build
my portfolio and to make money while I was in school. In 2007 I went digital.
My goal is to shoot for major fashion magazines such as W magazine and
Vogue. They are my two very favorite fashion magazines. I have been shooting
for 11 years but professionally for 6 years. I will travel upon request with paid
expenses. I love to travel! LOL My focuses are high fashion, weddings & nude
art. I love Fashion and I love the human body.
