Jasmine Nelson a.k.a J. Nels, (MODEL, SINGER,RAPPER) was born on March 16, 1989... She was born and raise in Chicago, Illinois (West Side), by her lovely mother Ladonna Nelson. J. NELS started modeling in her freshman year of college, year of 2007. She has worked with Certified Dymes Model, Diur Model, and Kandy Kurve Models as well. She has been in The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Miss Black and Gold pageant, and also has done many Fashion show, hair show and photo shoots with upcoming photographer in the industry. J. NELS started singing at the age of 7, and was a member of her family church choir for quite some years... Greater Lover M.B. Church that is.... She started rapping at the age of 16 years old through out high school, with the influence of her older brother Mecca G. or Mec. Mobley.... Jasmine a.k.a. J. Nels is a solo artist, and a member of two music groups.... B.N.B. will be the first group where she is honored to be the FIRST LADY of the Bar Non B**ch Clique, and she is also a member of the ALL female group which she was inducted in the previous year because her her talent and skills, which goes by the name of M.O.D. (March of Dymez).... Her manager is her bestfriend of 12 entire years Lashawnda Thornton... She has worked with excellent people who go by the name of.... "Prophecy", which is her producer, "Two" the on and only producer of The Room Ent., her blood brothers "Mecca G." member of B.N.B Clique and "V.I.C." (Da Boss) member of B.N.B Clique, "Rio" (the CEO) member of B.N.B Clique, "J.Ross" member of M.O.D., "A-EAZY" member of M.O.D., "T-Lewis" a member of MGRecords), and MANY more to come..... SOME FACTS ABOUT HER..... Jasmine attended Corkery Elementary School (Pre-K thru 8th grade), later then graduated and expanded to Collins High School....While in high school Jasmine a.k.a. J. Nels was very successful with her academics and extra -curricular activities. She was Top Ten of her Class for all 4 year of high school, apart of the National Honors Society, in the poetry club, drama, club, After School Matters Program, Service Learning Hour program, Tutor at Depaul University, Journalism Class, Treasurer of her 2007 Class for all 4 years, Homecoming Queen of her2006-2007 class, Prom Queen of her 2007 high school class, Principal Scholar Program at U.I.C., Volleyball, and Track and Field, choir, and even Band. She graduated with all these qualities on time in the year of 2007 with a G.P.A. of 3.6, and proceeded to college to get a high education. Jasmine is now a JUNIOR at Central State University, where she is known to be one of the first members out her family to attend a university, and pursue a Bachelors degree in Sociology of B.S., pursue her music career, join many organizations in the future, pursue in acting and modeling, and also attend Grad-School in California, earn her Master in Sociology, and live a successful as an independent woman she is......
