My name is Evelyn Marshall. I am the CEO & founder of Faces of Destiny Makeup Artistry here in Milwaukee,WI. I started my business over 2 years ago with a bag that had a loofah & body wash in it. My goal was to make women as beautiful on the outside as they were on the inside. I wasnt trying to alter what God had given them; I wanted to enhance it! People have doubted me & my skills as a makeup artist & model from the very beginning but that didnt stop me. I've never gone to makeup school or none of the like. God just placed the gift of makeup in me and I was able to duplicate whatever picture that I saw. Since I began I have done 6 runway shows, traveled to NY, IL, IN & TX to do makeup. I have done many photoshoots & just completed an independant short film named "The Funeral" here in Milwaukee. I also did makeup for a local Milwaukee author, Monique Simms who wrote the book "Sex Degrees of Separation" on which my makeup skills appeared on the cover. I began this business on the brink of divorce & 4 children by my side. And thru that I have been blessed to inspire not only my children to go after their dreams but many others as well. I was doing this venture on my own but over the past week God has blessed me with 3 very talented makeup artists in whom I will train and will go out as the Faces of Destiny Glam Squad. I have been blessed to sponsor events here in the city and be apart of a wonderful modeling organization X'Change Modeling. Our motto is "Preparing People for Destiny; one face at a time!" I have also began to work on my own couture clothing line that will debut early 2010 along with a book telling of my journey's up until the point that I am now. I consider myself to be a very teachable person in which I am always looking to better my skills.
